Exciting changes and love the new name. So glad you’re still keeping the newsletter over here, though!

Thank you, Elizabeth. Still need to figure out how to use Substack only for the newsletter purpose. Hope I can stay here.

Sad to see you moving to Wordpress. WP does allow for more customization, but I find it quite a pain to learn and maintain while having time to write. The new logo look great! I actually just tweaked Risk+Progress's logo and name as well, but the difference is small hardly anyone is going to notice. (Risk & Progress rolls off the tongue better)

So true! I nearly lost my mind struggling with WP for the last two weeks πŸ˜‚ but I hardly get any organic traffic on Substack. The kind of content I write is better suited for WP than being limited to the Substack ecosystem. I thought about it for a few months and I think the time has come to implement it. At the moment, I want to put it as simple as possible so that I have less work to do on the maintenance side. I still want to use Substack for newsletter purposes but that is something I need to figure out how to use both platforms simultaneously. If you have some ideas, feel free to suggest me. As always, thank you for your support. Now, you mentioned it, I just noticed the change on Risk & Progress and you are right, it sounds better 😊.

I don't have any tips. I do maintain my Medium account for syndication and because I actually make more money there. Medium, however, just put everything behind a paywall so it will probably no longer be a good place for organic traffic.

I used Medium for a short time before Substack but realised it has different audiences. Glad its at least working out for you :)

It does, or at least it did. A couple of months ago, Medium changed up their model to focus on more substack-like writing. It's working out well for me now.
